Well it's been a busy couple of days after my lazy weekend. Man, I seriously enjoyed just sitting around the ol' FOS watching baseball and DVDs. I watched The Corpse Bride, Robots, War of the Worlds, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith for the first time, as well as countless other cartoon DVDs. It was vunderbar.
Finally heard the new TOOL song on the Razor today. So far I had missed it twice because right before I was going into work they would say, "after the break we'll have the new TOOL song." And I seriously considered being late for work to hear it. I'm not going to lie to you, it wasn't all that and a bag of potato chips...but it was pretty damn close. If it was any other band it would have been their greatest song, but on the TOOLbar it ranks at about a 4 out of 5.
Saw Hoodwinked, Doogal, and The Pink Panther today at the Budget. Not really going to talk about much in depth but they were all decent. That's not what I wanted to touch on from today's Budget trip though. Before going to see Doogal (the second of the three movies), I was just standing around the lounge as I like to do and this african-american guy on a bench started talking to me, since we were in a movie theater we started talking about movies. He was mentioning how his girl got thrown in jail so he was up here watching her kids and that he spent pretty much everyday at the Budget theater and he saw Glory Road or as he called it "Road to Glory" 4 times. We ended up seeing Doogal together. Now I had no idea how old Will (that's his name) was, until he mentioned that he was 47, which was weird because he looked a lot younger than that, but he was talking about how one of the kids was around my age and planning to go to UWGB. But yeah, really cool dude.
I got home and I found out that Stacy and Tiffany were looking for me from my presidential roommate. I guess you probably don't know who Stacy and Tiffany are because I haven't talked about them yet. They're two girls from the second floor in Liebl and last Tuesday they came over to visit Zeb. Well, they ended up coming into my room and after talking about Hilary Duff for a couple minutes and seeing the Duff Corner in my basement, Stacy, Tiffany, Zeb and myself spent about 2 hours talking about random stuff and trying to guess Zeb's middle and parents names. It turns out that Zebulun (which is one of the tribes of Iraq, according to Tiffany's version of the bible) Optimus Prime Rutter's parents names are Megatron and Betty Sue. They were really cool... and a tad on the drunk side (not redonkulously but they were enjoying their tasty beverage). But yeah, apparently they were looking for me. I have no idea why and figured they probably didn't remember my existance because such a thing is easy to forget. But that was pretty cool because most people I know around here wouldn't be looking to hang out with me.
One last thing before I end this entry, last night I had a dream where I was in a movie theater. I'm now watching movies in my sleep and that is awesome.
