Lost Villages & Village Names
Hej there all,
I am starting a community called lost_villages and although i have done some research on lost villages and some stranger village names (to be posted as soon as each village's/town's details are gathered and typed up), i am always looking for new places to investigate. If any of you know of places that are now lost or have the strangest names and, especially if you know the history to that name, please could you suggest them in comments, here. If you see the village or town you would recommend researching already named by another ljer, please suggest it anyway along with any info you might have on it. All avenues would be appreciated. I think, with the far ranging localities of all the members here, i might get a wonderful array of places to plot and research. If you would like, you could join the community lost_villages yourselves and enjoy the fun too. Thank you in advance for any suggestions, help or hinderance >;)
