18 hour plane ride both ways.

I could always go stay with my brother but I'm not a little kid anymore and he's an adult with his own life.

I'm more upset about my ankle anyway.

I meant staying with your brother but, I guess I can understand that. It just seems a shame that you won't have many people around to really spend Christmas or the New year with.

How is your ankle anyway?

I have to use a crutch but it's just a sprained ankle, it shouldn't take more than a couple weeks to heal.

And, you know, Rua is right. I'm sure it would be fine for you to stay over with us for the holidays if you wanted too.
