So I've been dabbling in roms again this last week or so and found myself trying to get into Castlevania. I really enjoyed Symphony of the Night in the end, but the NES and SNES games just don't do anything for me, so now I'm juggling between Pokemon and SimCity 4, the latter being a huge timesink that appears to eat up hours by doing nothing in-game.

I'm also most of the way through Majora's Mask, the only Zelda game I really enjoy (Twilight Princess had its moments, too, I guess, but the Wii ruined it for me). I need to get, uh... three more masks I think, and I'm just about to enter the Stone Tower Temple, although I don't enjoy that dungeon as much so it's no wonder I'm playing other things. There's also the wee matter of using the Playstation 3's controller to play it on Project64. It's a better controller than the N64's, that's for certain, but it feels fucking weird.

It's pretty safe to say I'm done with Resident Evil 5 then. Not through choice, but I'm playing others things now and it's highly unlikely I'll go back to it soon, despite me wanting to get the small handful of trophies that remain. A similar thing happened with Fallout 3 -- I wanted to play more of it, start a new character and not just go around randomly and fucking up missions, but I ended up diverting my attention to something else and never went back.

Dead Space is still uncomplete. I really liked that game when I first started playing it. I'll freely admit that I screamed like a little girl at several occasions, but I ended up playing LittleBigPlanet and not even bothering to finish it at a later date.

It's safe to say that unemployment is still killing me. Aside from an increase in gaming (which is not a good thing), there has been a drastic decrease in appetite, sleep and motivation. I'm not even gonna fucking start on financial matters -- I'd be here all day.
