Best of Invisible Man
Glory, Glory Wrenscribbles Invisible Man Adult Slash - Gloryholes An anonymous nominator said: An incredible kinky moment with just a lingering trace of emotion that makes you ache. Perfect!

Justice League (Best of)

The Unadorned Truth Jen_in_japan Justice League NC17 Slash An anonymous nominator said: Batman is a character with a fanatical following. He's good at what he does, but sometimes in writing a fic, someone will try to make him invincible, which he's not. Batman has some bad things happen to him in this fic that bend him a little, but he doesn't break. He's written true to his character, and the author does a good job of making what happens to him both believable and sympathetic.

I, Janitor Dotfic Justice League PG-13 / Gen Mtgat said: It's the OC fic everyone else wishes they wrote. It's funny and loving towards the series and the characters.

Laugh Your Ass Off
Thirty Second Rule Frazi Angel PG-1 An anonymous nominator said:When I first read this I thought I died and went to Heaven, the perfect kissing action! the second time though it was the humour that got me. I've read this piece 5 times so far, and I still smile, laugh, and enjoy it as much as the first day.

Don't Mess Around With Jim Karen Sentinel PG / Slash Caarianna said: This is one of the funniest stories I've ever read. She captures the characters perfectly and the scenario is absolutely hilarious but also entirely credible given canon. Actually, I think ALL her stories should be read as the writing is superb, the plotting meticulous, and you'll laugh out loud until you can hardly breathe.

Bigger is Better Vipers_in_love Justice League MA / Slash An anonymous nominator said: Superman and Batman in an intergalactic gay bar--what's not to love! Lots of very dry, ironic humor, without ever wandering off character for the sake of laughs. Her Bruce is especially a treat--arch and playful, yet still entirely the calculating, rational Batman.

Stuff of Legends Awards
Second Verse Lit_gal Buffy NC-17 An anonymous nominator said: This is a wonderful story where Xander moved to LA before meeting Buffy. This Xander is both more insecure since he's the goofy sidekick for Gunn and his human crew, and more capable because he isn't surrounded by superheroes.

Conforming to Requirements Fluterbev Sentinel R Slash Starwatcher307 said: Wonderful premise, well-thought-out and well executed.

The Aidan-verse Series Rhi Highlander NC-17 Het, Slas Amejisuto said: Okay, Aiden Logan is my all time favorite OC EVER! The author hasn't just put a Mary Sue into a relationship with Duncan and Methos, Aiden is original, smart, sassy, funny but with character flaws that make her believable. Add in that this series not only ignores both Richies and Connor's Death but drags in immortals from the first movie and the series, PLUS a couple of stories with Nick Knight and friends, well it's just a damn good read. And long. Two days long.

Mirror, Mirror Award
Fade Lannamichaels Highlander PG13 Slash Unovis_lj said: There's always some ambiguity and mystery to Methos's character in canon, especially after the revelations of the Horsemen episodes. This is a brilliant characterization and a unique reading of his past, twinned to a fairy tale, powerfully written.

Shy Sparklebutch Buffy PG13 preSlash Ceruleancat said: It's just so Giles, a wonderful depiction of an essential character trait.

Skin Jo Angel G Gen Librarian2003 said: This story tells us just why Angel keeps the leather trousers.

Sentinel (Best of)
Imperfections IV Dasha Sentinel R Slash Mackiedockie said: Dasha has a preternatural ear for the characters in both fandoms, and builds strong plots at least 12 ways! Bonus footage in this story--the four Horsemen take on Cascade. The whole Imperfections series is strong, but this entry remains my particular favorite.

Predator and Perspectives Morgan Sentinel R Slash An anonymous nominator said:Beautifully written and twistedly logical, it burrowed under my skin. Then I found the sequel, Perspectives. Shit, now I ADORE both stories. The story is just as dark, but now there's hope in the darkness and a hint that life might just be worth living for. This really is a masterpiece!

Stranger in a Strange Land
Through the Ocean-Glass Elistaire Highlander R Slash Calime33 said: Here, Duncan MacLeod somehow finds himself from another reality, one where Adam Pierson is a mortal, and Joe Dawson has never heard of immortals...This story is bittersweet and has the quality and feel of a beautiful intricate lace.

Seget incasink Buffy NC 17/ Slash Sexymermaid said: It's a very angsty and emotionally realistic portrait of one man, a conquer, enslaving another. Probably one of my favorite WIPs at the moment.

Conforming to Requirements Fluterbev Sentinel R Slash Starwatcher307 said: Wonderful premise, well-thought-out and well executed.

No Way to Treat a Sentinel Tinnean Sentinel M Slash An anonymous nominator said: Jim Ellison, a former hustler, thought things would be better once he left the business. When a former boyfriend is murdered, and Detective Blair Sandburg is assigned to investigate it, Jim becomes sure of it.

X-Files (Best of)
On A Country Road Joyce X-Files/ due South PG / Gen Gryphonrhi said: for once, Scully finds the X-File -- a wolf trying to drive a car.
