One Flew Over the IT Nest
Our story begins last wednesday night when a strange pop or two, well, POPS up. Suddenly I'm locked out of the computer with spoofed "Microsoft" warnings and "please download" ya di ya.
I know better. So now our computer if officially compromised. I go in for the attack, worm erradication here, trojans running for their lives in a virtual version of "300" in my computer. I swear I beat who or whatever down in a matter of two hours. Let's put it this way, when something or someone locks you out or disables your Task Manager function, they definitely don't want me to see what they are doing in my process listings.
2:00 am Thursday - Fully clean and funtional. Rik who should be in the IT department 1, hack f.cker 0.
10:35 am Thursday - I get a call from Amy and the shits back. There is one thing that I did not account for; the spare drive that has my back up OS XP on it. Basically it was like bombing my old upstairs apartment back in 1988. I bomb the f.ck out of my apartment (le roaches). All they did was mirgrate down one floor, wait till the smoke cleared and come back.
The f.cker migrated to my other drive, and snuck back. War has been waged yet again. Rik who knows why he is NOT in the IT department 1, hack f.cker 1.
7:00 pm Thursday - I'm ready for my attack yet again, the hill of a computer shall be taken by my forces. I pull out ALL the stops. I came out fighting and it fough hard in return.
12:00 am Friday - Computer and ALL Components are clear. Victory is mine again. Rik who is tired of playing his own IT department at home 2, hack f.cker 1.
12:00 pm Sunday - I bought a back up disk to save ALL MY PHOTOS FROM EVERY SHOOT I"VE DONE. and Family photos as well. Enage six hour process.
7:35 am Monday - All iTunes and photos are safely transferred to the new external hard drive. I reboot the computer which as of Friday has been in perfect order.
Receive erros on boot up. Can't boot up, not even in Safe Mode. My hard drive has now crashed.
12:15 pm Monday - Buy new hard drive to format and install XP again....I'm sure after i get home and start the process of removing the old drives and install from scratch it will be 2:00 am again which at that point I will be ready for my megabyte lobotomy, and a huge indian brother coming over and smothering me with a mother board.
