Fair Eire
Michael has arrived safely in Ireland, and is settling in nicely at Crossmaglen, which is just over the border into the North of Ireland. Apparently he's got the only functioning laptop (no one had a multi-adapter) and the only one getting good wireless signal (as the Apple cheerleader does not realize that the aluminum case on her MacBook blocks wireless, and just called Mike an Apple hater). The food is amazing, according to him, and everything is so very, very GREEN. He's loving it.
So while I'm still at home, I decided this was an occasion to attempt my orange scone craving, and so far...mission successful :3 Definitely orange zest was the way to go. I used two whole naval oranges for both the zest and the juice in the recipe, and my entire apartment smells citrusy. Nom nom nom.
