T-Minus 36 Days and Counting...

Thirty-Six Days! Thirty-Six Days and I can see my Michael again!

We're currently solidifying accommodations for him (the hotel for the week was outrageous! Hostels look like the way to go...) and I need to find things to do. The current ideas were tossed around:

• A day or two at Hakone (foot of Mt. Fuji, hot springs town!)
• Day-trip to Kamakura to see shrines and temples
• Climbing Mt. Takao (2nd time for me, first for him <3)
• Day trip around Tokyo (Shinjuku, Akiba, Harajuku, Shibuya, Asakusa, Ginza, Odaiba)
• Observation deck of Tokyo Tower
• Ghibli Museum
• Osaka? (Unlikely, but our dear friend Maki lives there and she would like us to visit ;~;)
• TOKYO DISNEYLAND :D:D:D:D:D:D (or Disney Sea)

Maybe if I could find some sort of event like a sumai match or kabuki (or Takarazuka <3) that'd be cool too.

So many possibilities and so little time. March is gonna be busy busy busy because a week after Michael leaves, a wild Dan will arrive to inflict JEW-FRO on the masses. And we STILL need to work those details out @_@ (March is gonna be killer on my bank account XD)

Tentatively, this is the plan for the trip around Japan with Dan:

• Hakone (again!)
• Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Himeji, Ise (OMG. WHY CAN'T I GET RAIL PASS?! There must be a cheaper way to do all of this ;~;)
• Geisha "Glamour" Shots (Dress up like Geisha and get pretty pretty pictures!)
• See real Geisha and Maiko in Gion!
• Pet the sacred deer at Nara
• Pray to Lady Sun at Ise
• Maybe see Maki in Osaka (and maybe Shaye too)
• PHOTOS. LOTS OF PHOTOS. JESUS THE PHOTOS.

Woooo. I'm gonna be dead come the start of Japanese 4 :D
