I didn't get a chance to catch you under mistletoe to kiss you. I think that's an opportunity of potential embarrassment wasted.

But just think: then you would have missed the opportunity to leave me this message and I would never have checked it in a public place and nearly choked on my lunch.

Well, then at least a measure of success has been achieved.

Yes, you can rest easy now. Your mission for the day has been fulfilled.

Have YOU?

And yes, that would be me avoiding the question.

Three kisses, nothing terrible.

One kiss and a couple near misses. This is one Winterfair tradition I don't plan to ever introduce back home.

We have bonfire nights. I think I'd generally opt for burning things over being compelled to kiss strangers. But that may just be me.

We do that too. A big exchange on Bonfire Night. And then Father Frost comes to leave gifts for children overnight, of course.

It's strange how many things stay the same.

Traditions don't change, really, just evolve.

Evolution doesn't always result in something recognizable. But it's nice to think that Winterfair or Christmas or whatever you prefer to call it hasn't changed that much from your time to mine.
