Ok I am still helping out I didnt leave. Ha. I'm so fickle and a retard.
Anyway to get the the point, when someone comes to my journal and asks for livejournal help on paid accounts when I create a style they do know how to acctually make it a style. So I have to go through of all this trouble of either explaining it or them giving me thier password and me having to do more work than I have to do. Well this is how you create and edit a style.
If you are using Livejournals New Layout
Under Manage there should be a link labeled as Styles. Go there. On that page go to Edit or Delete an exesting style [http://www.livejournal.com/styles/edit.bml]. You will see a link to Create a Style [http://www.livejournal.com/styles/create.bml] There if you want to create a style for Most Recent Events or Friends View or Day View or Calendar View. Click inside the bubble for which one you want. Then scroll down and choose the syle you want. It will come up with something that says
Your style has been created and has been temporarily named your username-lastn-new. You can begin editing it by pressing the button below....
There is a button that says Edit Style Click on it to edit it. You can rename and edit it from there. When your done Click the button that says Save Style. And then go to your Modify page [http://www.livejournal.com/modify.bml] And which ever style you created whether be Most Recent Events or Day View choose that scrollbox and scrollbox and go ALL THE WAY DOWN and choose the style you just created.
(Word of advice rename each of your styles it is alot easier to manage).
