It's been a pretty good week. I got contacts. I'm still getting used to them. There is a weird glare and I am still having trouble putting them in. But I like them. It is nice not to have glasses. I went to the dentist. They went on and on about how nice my teeth are. It pays off to floss. I already mentioned my lack of sweating. I am all pretty now. Hooray.
I went to Evening Muse last night. There were some rocking bands. I went just to see Buschovski, but they didn't play till last. I got to hear Marry a Thief and Slow Runner. They were really good. Buschovski was awesome. I had to leave early but maybe at their next show I will get to see the whole thing. And maybe I won't be all alone. I talked to a couple people, but for the most part I stood by the wall. I like being a loner, but sometimes it is nice to have someone to talk to. Oh well. At least I'm going out and doing stuff.
I drove my mommy around Saturday. We went shopping. It was really nice. We had a great time. We usually don't have such a good time. Our shopping styles don't mix. The new Barnes and Noble at Carolina Place is really cool. I don't know why I hadn't been in there until now.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. I loves to eat. I might go visit my Dad's side of the family this year. Maybe. We'll see. I actually had a nice time when I showed them my car. For whatever reason we get along now. It's strange. Mom and I are talking about taking Chewy to the mountains. It would be fun. But my mom's not big on trips.
I'm being a Scrooge this year. Well at least until after Thanksgiving. I am not going to decorate or listen to any Christmas music until closer to Christms. If you start too early it takes away from the magic of Christmas.
I really should be asleep. I have to get up early and go to work.
If anyone is planning on going to the Avett Brothers New Year's Eve concert let me know. I really want to go, but I do not want to go to that alone. That would be sad.
