heroes con update 2008
looking back on it i had a great time. everything went fairly smoothly, a few rough patches. saturday night i worked until 11:30 at the art auction. it was awful. but it somehow worked out.
i did buy a paul hornshemeier piece at the art auction. i paid a little too much for it, but it was worth it. i got into a bidding war with merkle. we gave each other the evil eye. it was awesome. a lot of people came up to me and said how proud they were of me for bidding. i got to do a lot of shopping this year. i got some stuff from andy runton and mahfood and j chris campbell and robert ullman. i have a stuffed owly. it is very squeezable.
i shared room with shelley and her friend jordana. it was like a slummber party. it was a lot of fun. we had girl talk and giggled until the wee hours of the morning. we were going to go clubbin' but i had to work and then they couldn't get in.
i got to chat with rosario dawson. she is sooooo nice. and i got a hug from brian stelfreeze. he gives the best hugs.
there was a lot of joking around and laughing. maybe a little too much joking around.
the best thing about the convention though is that it is over! i've heard some rumors about next year. it's going to be insane.
