What do you think? I think its bad to dump the debt on the tax payers. I read through the bill and it gives paulson too much authority to do with the money what he wants and a lot of foreign banks are getting money not the american people. Its also a gamble withour money.. they say we might get money later from it.. i dont believe this for a moment ( Read more... )

Agreed. We should have just let the recession deepen (it will anyway) and ride it out. This is nothing more than nationalization of private business, wrapped with a shiny bow to keep the people distracted. Disgraceful.

this is my point exactly and both obama and mccain support it. Ron Paul has been predicting this for years.. how can you trust any of these other people. the only person witha perfect record is Ron Paul so I take what he says very seriously. Our country is being destoryed.. and we are letting it happen.. we have gotten caught up in the blame game the two party system is designed to put us in. Dems create a problem republicans claim they can fix it.. and vice versa.. its an un ending cycle of bullshit... I would call myself a republican but i dont think the republican party is in line with republican ideals anymore

The economy is cyclical in that it goes up and then down then up and down, etc. It should be noted that if you predict something for years (like the economy will go down), eventually you will be proven right. I'm not sure this would make someone more knowledgable. It just means they studied history.

please read what ron paul has been talking about.. learn up on the federal reserve system. If you understand the system.. you will understand why it was destined to fail and will continue to fail.

Not going to go up for awhile.. and this is not a normal down trend... were headed for an inflationary depression.. I am growing tired of arguing with people who havent researched the fractional reserve system.. go research it please and then come back to me... if we have the knowledge to understand why this happened and where its going we can stop it from happening again

I am predicting it's going to go up. I don't have to predict when. I just have to predict that it will. That's how it works.
