Wow, hey, nuts. It's been a long time.
Things are pretty good. I'm getting excited for Tanzania this summer. Not excited to leave my Honey, but if we're meant to work out, he'll be here when I get back. Well, not here necessarily, but we'll be together when I get back. Or even while I'm over there, it's not like I'm going to be looking for Mr. Right on the other side of the world. If not, I guess that'll be OK too. It's good for right now which is what's important.
When I get back, I have an internship lined up in Washington DC with Congressman Greg Walden, which should be amazing. I'll be glad to get the hell out of Oregon, permanently. I was also accepted for study abroad programs in Amman, Jordan and Jerusalem, Israel (total of one year in the Holy Land . . . yipes!) Once I get back to DC, I'm not coming back. I hate this small fry, hippie bullshit. If you're going to be liberal, go big so you can get taken down big.
Meanwhile, I don't think I'm going to make it to Swahili tonight. It's so freaking boring, and I want to go OUT. It's Cinco de Mayo, for goodness sake. Not that I'm really interested in celebrating the Mexican's holiday, but it's a good reason to drink, so I suppose I'll tolerate it.
