Been a While
So, it’s been a while since I actually updated this thing with information that might matter. Life’s been busy. Not good, not bad, just busy. I’ve been skipping a lot of class and sleeping in, because I’ve been staying up late spending time with friends. I finally realized that I wasn’t doing Ben or I any good to continue our relationship, because I didn’t ever make time for him, mostly because I just didn’t care to. Which sounds callous, but is true nonetheless. Especially because I was able to make time for everyone else but him . . . Strangely enough, we talk more now that we’re not together than we did while we were together. LOL I don’t think I have the patience to be in a relationship right now.
Truth be told, I really only like being in relationships when it’s a challenge. If it’s easy, I get bored. Take Sparky or Kiddo, for example. I liked dating Kiddo because it wasn’t easy, I was always having to fight for his attention . . . always having to pursue him. Sparky, on the other hand, made it too easy and I got bored. So I’d break up with him just to see if I could start over. Which I was able to do until he figured me out. Ben was the same way. He was happy to settle into a normal relationship and I was like, “Fuck this, where’s the fun in being normal?” I guess this all explains why I took Egypt back every time. LOL
OK, I need to get ready for crew formal.
