Barley Straw
We visited PetSmart to get some barley straw for the pond. I now have barley straw for years. Note to pet people: PetSmart stores will match prices with petsmart.com. Items on the website are usually significantly cheaper than items in the stores, so take a printout of the web page with you when you shop. They will match the price if the printout is provided.
So now we have barley straw. The pads are very large so I cut one into quarters and tucked a quarter into the skippy.
This afternoon I knocked on the door of the lady down the street to ask if I could look at her pond. But I am tired so I will write about that later.
