'Quil to the rescue!

Work up Sunday morning feeling like a cold was trying to settle in. By that evening, it had moved in and brought relatives.

Spent most of Monday working from home & trying to breathe. At work today filled to the brim with DayQuil.

I'm home with my sick nephew (strep. yay.) watching Invader Zim and working on my Halloween costume. All in all not a bad day as long as I'm not currently incubating my own case of strep.

What is this year's costume?

We watched Avatar for most of the morning before the boy requested the change of scenery with Zim. It's nice that his tv choices do not torture me!

This years costume is Poison Ivy. I'm very excited. The corset I made doesn't fit quite as well as I like, but I'm pretty sure the presence of boobs will distract people from any sewing imperfections. ;)
