'Sup Party People!
So my college interview went great guns. The course sounded awesome and the 20 something lecturer I spoke to was very cool. He wouldn't have looked outa place proppin up the bar at the Mooring's....shaved head, long black beard crafted into a point and every inch of his exposed arms covered in beautifull intricate tattoos. The campus building was aged, grand and kinda spooky. Loved it! Anyways, I was offered an unconditional place on the course. Yay (you'd think), however having just completed a University degree at RGU I was informed that I'm not eligible to apply for another bursary. In short, I have to stump up my own tuition fees....ARRRRSE! Lookin at just over three grand to complete the HND. This is a major set back. Reckon I'll have to put off Glasgow until next year so that I can save up for the course. This is a huge disappointment but on the up side a year should fly by and I'll get to enjoy my pals (and the fonz) for another 12 months. At least the trip confirmed what I want to do with my life. My Rosemount pad is still going on the market and I'm going to move in with Luisa for a year. Means I wont have any ties when I do EVENTUALLY come to move.
In other news I had a pretty varied weekend. Friday night was a mad one that culminated in Reilly smashing my folk's kitchen window in order to get into the house to feed his kitten! He thought I'd locked him out when in fact he had left the club in a drunken stupor before me! I went nuts, totally loco! The neighbours reported the incident to the police believing Reilly to be a burglar and before long the feds were round takin statements off us both. The evening may have turned ugly however Reilly's paying for a replacement window which is gettin fitted tomorrow.....just in time for my folk's return on Saturday *wipes sweat from brow*. We now see the funny side of the incident however I'm prayin the neighbours keep a lid on the event as my dear folks wont find it quite so amusing.
Saturday was amazin! The weather was at it's glorious best and the day was spent outdoors and in great company. Luisa, Jimmy, Gary, Fi and the kids came out and we spent the afternoon at the 'Emmerdale Extravaganza' held just outside Banchory. We couldn't get near the bungee jump due to the masses of peeps that had flocked to the event however booze was in free flow so that kept us happy. Further entertainment was provided in the form of low flying stunt planes, dog agility classes, inflatable obstacle courses, quad bikes, carnival attractions, car exhibitions and a talent (or lack there of) show. When the attractions began closin up we went paddling in the river Dee (perhaps not the wisest move since we were BLEEEEZIN by that point). Surprisingly all survived and I can't wait to see the photos (the shame)!
So that's my latest.
Beach party and/or Xenophon to look forward to this weekend......
WHEY!!!!!
