Awwwh. . .
My friend's sister-in-law just had a beautiful baby girl and named her Amy. She was due on the 20th of this month so arrived a li'l earlier than expected. What a lovely surprise for the Masson family. A huge congratulations to them all!
All this baby/birth talk is making me want my own all the more. I must practice the art of patience for good things surely do come to those that wait (a virtue I need to take into account for all aspects of life from now on)!
Lots to do today as I need to pay a visit to Aberdeen City Council to renew my Resident's Parking Permit (which has gone up to a whopping £80!!) and I have dull council tax forms to fill out. I'm gonna head back to the flat once that little lot's done and pack a bag of clothes to take out to Banchory that I'll need for after the baby's born. God only knows what state my waist will be in at that point and whether any of my old trousers will still fit me? If all else fails I'll just live in my beloved camo cargos until my figure has regained some kind of shape!
Ante-natal check bright and early tomorrow and very possibly the last time I'll see the mid-wife before the big day. Fingers crossed the baby has descended into the engaged position...!!
