You did what!? With who!? Whoa...
Hermione had been very quiet and very careful when she had slipped up to the Astronomy Tower.
She borrowed Harry's invisibility cloak and snuck out at midnight, when all the castle was asleep. Well, all the castle save her and the person she was meeting. They had arranged to meet at 2am, but Hermione always got lost, so she left early. No-one knew about her arrangements, she was swift and this night had been well-planned.
She reached the Astronomy Tower at 1:15. She sat by the window, hidden under the invisibility cloak, and waited patiently.
"Hermione, are you here?"
The voice startled her out of her sleep. Wait, sleep? She glanced down at her watch and mentally cursed. 2:15. How could she have fallen asleep?
"Uh, yeah," She said awkwardly, pulling off the cloak. "Sorry... I must have dozed off waiting for you."
Draco smirked and helped her to her feet. "So you DO have imperfections."
She forced an exhausted smile. "Don't tease."
He shook his head, and brought Hermione into a tight hug. "I've been waiting all day for this."
How uncharacteristic... Hermione thought with a smile. Uncharacteristic, but true. "So have I. You don't know how hard it is pretending to hate you everyday when I'm around Harry and Ron."
Draco chuckled, running a hand through her hair. "Oh, I think I know. I have to pretend too..."
"Did you hear something, Mrs Norris?" Filch.
The two pulled apart quickly. Hermione looked defeated, as well as exhausted, and Draco hid his disappointment. "Tomorrow?" Hermione nodded, and the two disappeared under invisibility cloaks as Filch and his abnormal cat came into the room.
"So, Hermione, why did you need my cloak last night?" Harry asked the tired-looking girl sitting before him. "What were you getting up to?"
Hermione sighed. Making sure there were no eavesdroppers, she told him.
"You did what!? With who!? Whoa..."
