it's come down to this?
when you have read everyone's journal the only thing left to do is update your own!
Green Day was a great gig. i didn't have much expectations for it as it was in a big venue and there would be loads of annoying people there but it was fun. as it was the last date of the tour New Found Glory and Green Day were just that bit crazier than normal! Green Day had loads of pyros and they put on a great show - it's something you forget about at smaller gig, just how impressive the sets are on the arena tours. just before the last song there was a big explosion of confetti in a Green Day style and while it fell from the sky and covered everyone in the crowd Billie Joe played Good Riddence [Time of your Life] and the meaning of the song just hit me. it wasn't that i didn't get it before it was that the situation made it more profound - it is something that will stay with me for a long time.
Today i went to Glasgow and bought some good purchases. : D. met up with Graeme, Ryan, Murray, Nxon, Stuart and David. T and we all went to Pizza Hut so they could eat [i had already eaten so i treated myself to a Pepsi Max! After that we went to Burtons and had fun with the juke box machine. We got split up after that but it was cool cause me and Ryan met up with Lisarr! and had fun in Topshop, Avalnche and other such shops. much banter was had. we all met up later in HMV where Noise Next Door were doing a signed lets just say - i was not much impressed! Was rather funny though as they suck very much and their hair is very silly indeed. We headed towards the station and after much debate and such we got the 6.50 train via Branchon where i got off.
Megan came up and we had some fun listening to her new Adam Green 7" [thanks to me! hah] which has a rather percurliar cover of a Libertines song. It's funny as he is American and your so used to hearing the Libertines songs with a strong English accent. woo - quite enjoyable.
I'm sooo very tired. i'm going to sleep so i can get my strength back for Graeme's party tomorrow which i am very much looking forward to! : D
