HAPPY THANKSGIVINGG!!
Wow. I just saw two awesome movies in the span of two days.
1. Harry Potter-WICKED!As Fred and George would say. Very climatic, Rupert Grint and whatever the guy's name who plays Cedrick Diggory were REALLY HOT!!..basically none of the guys in that movie are bad looking, Emma Watson is an overactor sometimes, they took out a lot from the book, but the movie was still relatively true to it, I cried during parts: 4 stars (out of 5)
2. RENT-UTTERLY AMAZING. Where do I begin? Although they took out the songs Christmas Bells, Happy New Year, Good Bye Love, Contact, etc it was still undescribably awesome. I thought after they took Contact out it would be really funky because that was how angel died in the show, but her progressive death worked well. I seriously started crying from One Song Glory onward--obviously i stopped during La Vie Boheme. I was nearly sobbing at the I'll Cover You reprise. Gosh, it was soo powerful! Some of the spoken things in the movie kinda bothered me cuz they were sung in the play and it was like awkward. Still gosh it was done so well..Rosario Dawson was a great Mimi!! I totally want to see it again like now! Screw Thanksgiving. RENT is mucho better. 5 STARS.
