Wow, it has been quite a bit since I've posted. Well during the holiday season everyone is always super busy, and I've been no exception.
I hope everyone had a good holiday.
I enjoyed my time off, I got to see my brother John for Christmas, which was cool and kind of sucky. I mean it was great to see him, considering he lives in Arizona and can't visit very often, but I only spent about 2 days with him, which wasn't nearly enough time to spend with someone you rarely see.
I picked him up Christmas Eve, had a not so fun luggage problem at the airport, in which his luggage was on another plane, blah-blah, this and that, wasn't terrible he wound up getting it the next day. After I picked him up, we headed over to are parents friends house, they were having a little Christmas Eve party, we went to see alot of people we don't regularly see anymore, and everyone wanted to see John's daughter Madison. I went in the house first so I could attract as much attention from people until the baby came in, of course, shortly after, "Oooooo, look at the baby, she's sooooo cute.....", my Mom, maybe about a half hour after I got there came up to me, "Oh, hi Bob, how are you doing, I didn't see you come in?", yeah, thanks Mom I only drove John and his family here...go play with the kid. I love my brother and all, and I'm happy for him, but still, I haven't seen some of these people just as much as John has, but he has a baby and he's married, "Oh, Bob, so are you still in school.....what are you doing now, you done yet?", Like they care about my answer, I should just have responded with "Hey here comes the baby!", they'd probably be more interested in that rather then Film School. Ugh. After the party, John, Stephanie, Madison, and I went back to my house, we did some present exchanging with my dad, then they went to sleep since they had been on a very early flight.
Well then Christmas, my Mom came over, more present exchanging, then dinner. It was a really simple Christmas, but it has become a rarity to have even my immediate family together, so it was pretty special. Later on John and Stephanie decided to watch a movie together, I stopped over Tom's to wish everyone there a Merry Christmas and just see everyone, went home pretty early since Sunday was Madisons Christening.
Time to become the Godfather, Sunday was the Christening. I hadn't been to one of these in years, many years, it went by very quick, and Madison was very well behaved. I did my part excellently, which involved me holding Madisons head, and holding a candle, uh....not at the same time. Afterwards we went to a really nice restaurant by my Mom's and had dinner with most of my Mom's family, it was pretty nice. However the drive home was quite tedious since it had began to snow, now granted it was only about 2-3 inches, it was that really annoying snow that loves to stick to the road and piss you off while you drive, yay! Went to Toms afterward, watched a movie with Max, hung out with him for a bit, then went to sleep.
On Tuesday of that week I went into the city to spend the day with Lyla and her Mom. It was a really fun time, I got to meet her Mom for the first time who was awesome. We went to a Sushi restaurant in which they ordered waaaay too much much sushi, but leave it to Bob in those circumstances! I ate so much goddamn sushi, I practically ate SeaWorld, ugh. Afterwards we went to a couple of stores around Manhattan, then to a bar for a couple of drinks, then to a comedy club called, well, The Comedy Celler, it was hilarious, the comics were hysterical it was awesome. I got home at about 11-12 or so, then bed.
On Wednesday I hung out with Bryan for the most part. I went to his house, he's like "Dude, you hungry?", ok cool! We went and got Mexican food and booze, sweet. Both were tasty. Later on a bunch of people came by to play cards, I basically just hung out and drank, since I suck at Poker. It was a good time anyway. I watched Shaun of the Dead and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, so that was cool. Towards the end of the night it was basically Bryan, Rob, his girlfriend, Mike, and I just talking for about 2 hours, I left at about 3:30.
On Thursday Lyla came down, we headed to Tom's to, well, get food, video games, and booze, this time for New Years. We got back and just waited for Nick, Danelle and Brad to get to Tom's. Once everyone was there a decent amount of the night was taken up by Mario Tennis, then Napolean Dynamite.
Friday, New Years Eve!.....
Ok party update coming later, Bob very tired, school tomorrow.
