"Hungry, Daddy?" Hana-chan asks. She holds up another Barbie head and smiles at him. Kirihara's chest feels tight for a moment, but in a good. He crouches down and takes the Barbie.

"Thanks," he says.

"It's my number one," she says. "Number one Barbie."

That sound that the entire office space probably heard would be my huge 'squee!' at the cute-ness that is Kirihara progeny. She is just like her Daddy! This is off to such a great start, I love the flashback between then-and-now.

Oooohhh now I get it. I was a little confused in Denounment when Renji suddenly turned out to be a girl too. I was like "Wait... when was this revealed." It all makes sense now. XD

I really like how you keep switching from past to present. :]

"It's a recipe from a friend," Renji says.

"It looks like poison," Kirihara says. The pot starts to bubble. It turns a shade of green with each burst on the surface.
Hahahaha XDD Renji should know better than to trust certain recipes from certain friends. XD

Yes, Kirihara was the only one to know about Renji for months. But, being relatively flat and gangly, Renji wasn't...very...he didn't look particularly feminine, shall we say?

I really must say that I like your stories to no end! Well written and I adore the way you paired them up! Yukimura/Sanada and Kirihara/Yanagi - In that order! So Great! I expected these two couples, but Marui/Jackal in that order? And why is there no separate story of this couple? I would just like to know. *smile*

Thank you so much for your comment! Although I am not sure if you will ever read this, I very much appreciated your thoughts. Although there is currently no Marui/Jackal fic, if I have the time and energy, I would one day like to fic 'their' side of the verse as well. Unfortunately, I have a number of other commitments to work on (namely, RL) before that can happen.
