It took me a while to come up with an idea for this one. I hope you enjoy it.

The first time she lays eyes on him, her breath is completely taken away.

He looks just like him.

Or, well, he looks just like he did when their first and only date.

He doesn't really act much like him, though. He has a bit more of an attitude, and in some ways, it reminds her of all the times he was high on Red Kryptonite, just not as extreme.

There's something very sweet hiding below the surface, though, and it pulls her in. She knows this kid, this clone, isn't him, but somehow, she can't help herself.

So she gives in. To her emotions, to him. Just once. Just once, she pretends Clark is alive and well and with her, holding her close. And for that short time, it works.

But then, suddenly, Clark's not dead. He's not dead, and buried. He's alive, and back in her arms faster than she can blink ( ... )
