At breakfast across the street from the hostel. It is called "Stone Soup" and I had a great veggie quiche! We then headed to Graceland! It was about 10 minutes away! Went on the tour of the house first. It is very small compared to mansions of today. It is an audiot tour, so everyone had on headphones. I call it "the silent tour". I'd turn off my headphones and listen to quiet. In the TV room, I tripped on the bar stools and it made so much noise. .I was laughing about it, but the other people seemed irritated instad. At the Meditation garden, we kept having to wait for people to leave so we could get the pictures we wanted, but that was a long wait. But that was OK. The audio tour said we could stay as long as we wanted. LOL
We went back to the hostel and I took a brief nap while Elvis looked up addresses and stuff for our evening jaunt. Got to Beale street and ate at the Blues Cafe, then went on the ghost tour. I really did enjoy it, but it was just too much walking with the guide not having really anything to say in the meantime. The last stop was the coolest because it was an old pharmacy converted to a bar with a haunted juke box, and the upstairs use to be a brothel. We rode a trolley back to Beale and headed to our neck of the woods to TheaterWorks and saw Freak Engine, and inprov group, for 2 hours. It was fun and funny!
Got back to the hostel. We are the oldest people staying here, yet we are the one's getting in the latest!
