About You
Positive adjectives to describe you (5 to make it easy on you):creative, considerate, strong-willed, daring, easily amused
Negative adjectives to describe you (at least 3):stubborn, avoidant, blunt
Vices (minor shortcomings/foibles): Poor impulse control, a little bit of pride or vanity but it's skewed, BRUTALLY HONEST sarcasm, caffeine, and fatalistic tendencies
Some likes/hobbies/interests:driving, writing, movies, filmmaking, being able to be creative and work independently, doing what I’m perfectly allowed to do but told I couldn’t, humiliating assholes, competent leaders or being one, recording and manipulating music and sound, photography, reading
Some dislikes:not having a license, riding in buses or cars for an hour or more, willful ignorance, people who keep others in the dark or realizing their full potential, people who believe the lie that they have nothing to offer others unless they fit some predetermined mold, homophobia, people who have to argue a point when the decision has already been made rather than following along or doing something to actually solve the problem, and totalitarian ass-hats
Personal style:*I stare at this question for four seconds before deciding to just skip it and move on*
Favorite movies (other than Repo!):Cat People, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, and The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, Super Mario Bros.
Favorite books:Altered States, Good Omens, The Silence of the Lambs, The Vampire Chronicles
Favorite music to listen or dance to: A little bit of everything
Favorite music to (hypothetically) fall asleep to: Stuff that reminds me of whatever I'm obsessing over of the moment
Favorite legendary creature: Dragons for their complexity, unicorns for the crack
Shy or outgoing?: Uh, both
Defiant or compliant?: Depends on who it is, what they want, what I want
Courageous or cautious?:Moreso cautious, but I never like to miss a chance to be a bit on the courageous side
Sarcastic or sweet?: That would be both again
Mysterious or sunny?: My sunniness is the real mystery
Vain or modest?: I think I'm fairly modest, but when I'm right, I'm right
Elegant or flamboyant?:Uh, neither, pretty DTE, actually
Naive or cynical?:Moreso cynical, hard not to be, but I'm also a bit of a dreamer
Unhappy or complacent?:Neither, pretty happy with what I have, would be happier with more
Ambitious or unambitious?:Ambitious
Self-absorbed or caring?:Uh, can't I be both?
About REPO!
What do you like most about the movie?: Other than the fact it is awesome!??! The general freakiness of the characters? Freakiness being of course the highest compliment given by me.
Who is your favorite character?: Pavi! He's 100% comfortable with who he is and the flaws in humanity. He also got me to reread Hunchback after I watched the film.
Who is your least?: Close tie between Rotti and Nathan -- Nathan moreso, maybe, Rotti probably should've been less obsessive. Cunning genius, but disgusting. But Nathan managed to piss me off throughout the entire thing -- aside from Tony Head being freakishly hot covered in entrails -- for being SUCH A TOOL. I liked how Shilo came around to defend him in the end, despite everything...
What's your favorite song off the soundtrack?: Things You See In A Graveyard for the backstory or Needle Through A Bug for the general wrongness of it
What type of person do you think you'd be in this world? (Gentern, graverobber, etc.): The dead kind, I'd be just trying to live my life, I have some medical issues however that I would need to be as rich as I was when I had the surgery, otherwise, well this spine would look very grisly over the RepoMan's mantel...and, no, I won't thank him. Unless I can at the last minute. For the purpose of being annoying.
What do you think the world will be like in 2056?: Jesus, it's difficult for me to see 5 years ahead in my own future...IDK, like it is now, only different. Better/worse? Who's to say, "The loser now will be later the win / for the times they are a-changin'".
Are you for or against cosmetic/appearance-changing surgery and designer organ transplants? (I think it's possible to be for it.): Considering I once planned a whole protest/mock living theatre production against it...I think my opinion is pretty set on such things. And sure it's possible. People love to spend money on crap they don't need. GeneCo just exploits that. Like any other business.
