And what a lovely one it is!!!!
With Jimmy in such an important role. He never gets enough love that poor boy. I like the way you wrote him here. It's so much him to just be there for Jason despite being hurt. Also the way he treats Clark is 100% believeable.
"Clark almost felt like Jimmy had dipped the last word in kryptonite"This one made my eyes wet. That's what harsh words of true friends can feel like ( ... )

I love Jimmy and I knew you did too so I wanted to include him and suddenly the whole scene with Jason and the door just popped into my head.
I'm glad you liked the way I wrote him. I can't see him getting angry at Jason for something that wasn't his fault but I think he'd be pretty pissed at Clark. Especially as he's involved with Superman as well.

Poor Jimmy, having to find that out that way. *winces* Thank goodness Clark was at least able to start mending their friendship.
So much love.

Yeah, I think things would have gone much smoother had it come from Clark but it can't be helped after it's happened. They've started fixing at least and they will get past it and personally, I think once they're friendship is back on track it's going to be that same as Lois knowing with Clark wondering why he never told him earlier :P
Thanks for the lovely comment *hugs*

Quite honestly, when I read (or rather skimmed) it the first time, my first thought was that the reactions weren't adult enough - I didn't have this kind of problem this time around.
Actually, I was positively surprised by how much Lois here is the voice of reason when usually it's her that's portrayed as impulsive and rather going on her gut feeling.
And you definitely nailed Clark's "avoiding thing" tactics! Ha, he so needed to be told.
Loved the whole Clark-Jimmy BFF dynamic. This gets way too little attention in any kind of medium, canor or fanon!

I liked having Lois being the one to pull Clark back into line. But she has been through all this before and, unlike Clark, knows what it's like on the other side :P And he really did need to be told :P
They really don't get enough attention at all do they? Jimmy's supposed to be Clark's good friend but he's rarely anywhere to be seen in canon or fic now days :(
