Sharks, Nachos, and Violence

So last night was originally intended to be a nachos and movie night for Macaroni, Scruffy and I, but it didn't exactly play out like that.

In Soc., Scruffy informed me that it was his friend's birthday, but that he was going to hangout for nachos and a movie with me instead.  Then he discovered that his sister was coming to Brantford that night and asked if she could come along too.  Of course I said that was okay, I'm not the kind of person who can easily say no to people (a doormat, if you will), but after I agreed I forgot whether or not I liked his sister.  We all know I'm not vair homosocial, but I eventually reminded myself that I thought she was rad when I met her over the summer.

After Soc., I had two hours to stress out and clean up the apartment (which wasn't vair dirty in the first place, but still).

At 7oo, Macaroni came over!  And he came over with "Jaws Unleased" no less!  As it turns out, Jaws Unleased is pretty much the best game ever.  We took turns swimming around as Jaws, eating people (if you don't eat people you die), and completing missions (destroy the refinery!).  We chirped a lot while the other was playing, but we definitely made an ace team as we figured out how to get through each level (to unlock the gate with the key pass, you have to bite the scientist and drag him to the key pass reader).  In the end, we had to find a walkthrough to get through the level we were working on, and it was Macaroni who eventually beat the level.

Scruffy and Danielle came over close to 10:40.  I was not impressed as he said his class never ran later than 9:30, but I was starving so I forgave him.  Macaroni and I had prepared all the ingredients ahead of time (Macaroni graciously offered to cut the vegetables as I had sliced my finger open the night before), so it was only a matter of putting everything together and throwing it in the oven.

Dinner was nice, the nachos turned out well (even though we didn't eat hardly as much as I had expected) and everyone seemed to like my homemade gaucamole!  Yay!  I felt a little weird being the only one drinking juice (everyone else had beer), so I was more or less vair happy when Macaroni asked for a glass.  Aside from that, I fell back into my "silent for everything but giggles" mode during dinner.  I guess I need to work on being more of a conversationalist.

By the time we had finished dinner, it was already past midnight.  Scruffy had to leave because he wanted to meet up with the birthday friend I mentioned earlier, so Macaroni and I were left to watch "Shoot 'Em Up."  It was a good movie -nods.-

When Macaroni left, I talked to Scruffy for a bit on msn, because on his walk home he was attacked by some Brantford random.  For all I complain about Brantford being sketch, it is still comes as a shock when something like this happens.  I'm glad he's alright.

That seems like an awkward note to end this entry on.
