Yesterday
I made dinner for Mum because I was going to miss her birthday while at university. I marinated and barbecued flank steak, steamed some yellow wax beans, and made mashed potatoes (I also threw in a veggie disk for Luke).
Although the first batch of potatoes failed, the dinner on a whole was vair successful. Mum said the steak was perfect even though it looked undercooked to me. It did taste amazing though. And for dessert we had apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Yum. We also let her open her presents (a pair of gold earrings and a Rachel Ray cookbook). She seemed to be vair pleased with everything, so I'm glad. I hope Dad remembers to take her out on her actual birthday though.
Talked to macaroni for 5 1/2 hours.
Today
I moved back to Brantford. My appartment is vair chic (I'll upload pictures eventually). The highlight, however, was when Scruffy showed up for tea. We had strawberry tea together and chilled out on my couch and laughed about stupid things. It was really nice hanging out with him. When he left, he gave me a hug.
I also had some time to spend with Amy... I will have a lot of time to spend with Amy. Still, I enjoy having a roommate again.
Tomorrow
First classes of third year. I have this sinking feeling that I'm going to end up in the wrong classroom and then just sit through it because I'm too embarrassed to get up and leave.
It is also Mum's birthday.
