Happy Birthday John!!!
Today is John's ultra rad 17th birthday! (or uhm, yesterday technically...shut up, we just got back from the movies) I came back from Brantford this morning, which was only a few short hours after I finished his birthday present. I made him a ska roots cd (with The Specials and The Beat along with other rad ska bands); drew him a picture based on a photo he was looking super rad in; and bought him a black fedora (vair spiff). He also got a traveling case for his cds and some xbox/eb games related jazz. We had Chinese food and cheesecake to celebrate. As Mum cut the cakes we sang to John.

It was hilarious, as up until the point where we said his name we were sounding fairly melodic!
After diner, John and I went to the movies. He's now driving ("When anyone asks me about my driving abilities, I say I drive stick. It impresses all the girls")! I am so proud to announce that he takes after me (i.e. vair fun and mostly safe)! Unfortunately, when we got there, our movie was sold out and the next one didn't start for another hour and a half. So, we hit up the mall! John and I got some rad cds. He got the new Streetlight album <3, The Flatliners and Pink Floyd. I got the Horrorpops (after deciding that the price of said album was never going to go down and if I waited much longer they'd probably fall into a black hole with all their cds, just like my other favourite bands). I'm stoked though, because I'm definitely going to steal Streetlight and upload it onto my laptop. -Dances.- When the mall closed, we went back to the movie theatre to watch our movie (redundant statements are redundant).
Now we are home and I am sleepy. It feels as though it has been a vair long day and it has. In conclusion, the end.
