[Axel returns home from hauling Demyx to the lake with Riku and Lea thoroughly worn out. Who knew carrying a fish-man halfway across town could be so draining? And then he can't even use portals to get home, so he has to hoof it. Lame! How do people who can't use Corridors of Darkness stand it?

Kicking the door closed behind him, he leans on it a moment, then notices Xion's SFC is on the table, but Xion is nowhere to be seen.]

[Xion pokes her head out of the other room when she hears Axel come in, and she marches over to him, and presents him with Elan.]

Okay, Xion, a cat is one thing, but you can't just bring home stray moogles, too.

I didn't bring it home! Look! [She gives the moogle's belly a little poke, and the previous-kitten gives a meow of protest and flutters her wings.]

[He reaches for the moogle-cat and holds her up, tilting his head.] Wasn't expecting you to get a costume change, too. [He looks at Xion then.] Think she can sell us some accessories? I always wanted a Rune Ring.

[Xion blinks at him a moment, then laughs brightly.] No, she's still just a cat! [She thinks.

Elan only meowed, so far.]

[He holds Elan up, looking curious.] Think she can actually fly with these little wings? I always wondered how the hell the moogles did it--they're really not big enough to support flight... [Maybe it's magic. That's as good an explanation as any.]
