So can we keep him? [She nuzzles her face against the kitten and its adorably soft black fur.]

Isn't he? [Of course, that's what she focuses on as she gives the kitten another nuzzle, then holds it out to Axel.]

I was on my way home, and he started following me. I didn't want to just leave him in the streets.

[He stares at the cat a moment, then reaches out to cup both hands beneath it, taking it from her hands. Lifting the kitten up to peer at its face, he tilts his head to look at Xion again, then turns his attention back to the cat as it meows rather insistently at him.]

He just followed you home? I dunno, I mean, I-- [He's cut off when the kitten leans forward and bonks its tiny head against Axel's chin and proceeds to purr loudly. Axel attempts to maintain his cool, slightly disapproving exterior, but doesn't succeed. It... it's just too cute. Shifting his hands to hold the kitten under its front legs, he gives a heavy sigh and glances at Xion again.] I guess if Roxas doesn't mind. [And with that he hands the kitten back to her, shaking his head helplessly.

'What is it with you and picking up stray puppies?'

Well, it's not a puppy, but old habits die hard, he supposes...]

[Xion has to admit: that is way too adorable. Obviously, the kitten already thinks Axel is awesome.

Practically beaming, she takes the kitten back from Axel, nuzzling it again sweetly -- and getting some nuzzles in return.]

I don't think he'll have a problem with it. [After all, who could resist the kitten? And Roxas didn't seem the type to mind.]

Is he out, too?

He went out earlier to pick up some groceries, I think. [A half-shrug.] I guess since you two are gonna be learning culinary arts from Lea he wanted to be prepared, or something. [He glances at the clock on the microwave.] I would have thought he'd be back by now, though. Hope he didn't get accosted by cats, too; I think one is enough.

Xion turns at the sound of the door opening, and immediately perks up, going to Roxas to present the kitten.]

Look! Isn't he cute? [Roxas may have bags in his hands, but he can LOOK AT THE CUTENESS.]
