Warning - This is a little bit ranty

So there's been a few things that have really been getting under my skin lately.

There is a line that has been getting thrown at me recently from a number of places and it annoys me in the way that militant feminism annoys me. "Sista's before Mistas" (Or Sisters before Misters if we're speaking properly) it is a play on the popular guy phrase "Bro's before Ho's"  Both meaning, basically, put your friends before your boyfriend or girlfriend.

I understand the idea behind this, I really do. Just because you have a relationship doesn't mean your friends are any less important but the ways its been told, no wait...preached to me is that any time I want to do something with my boyfriend I have to check with my friends to see if we're not doing anything first and if we are then I have to cancle all plans with the boyfriend.

For the past couple of months the reason I havn't been really seeing my friends is NOT, I repeat, NOT because I have a relationship. No, It's because i'm trying to get through this hell I like to call University that I am throwing myself into to make sure I pass!

The truth is, Sisters before misters (Or Bros before hos) just doesn't work. You can't have a healthy functioning relationship with another person if there are in fact more than two of you in the equation. At the end of the day, love your friends as much as you do, when it comes to your relationship there are only two opinions that really matter: Your's and his's.

Another thing that has been annoying me lately are wasters. You know, those people who seem to walk through life either not caring about the fact they still work in HMV/McDonalds/Burger King etc at the age of 25. Or the people who don't study, don't try and just fuck about all through their course and then complain when they have re-sits to do.

These are the people who in their later years (Say 40 years old or so) will be saying "I was never given the right oppertunity!" Or  "Life just wasn't fair on me." Umm...no, Life was fine on you, you went to the same school system that I did and were given probably the exact same oppertunities as me so the only reason you are still working in a dead end job with no qualifications is because of YOU.

I'm annoyed by this because I go to uni with someone who is pretty much exactly like this. He never turns up for classes, hands stuff in late and fucks around when he is in (Annoying on the odd occasion i'm trying to pay attention.) I'm sorry but if you want something, FUCKING WORK FOR IT THEN!

It makes me sick to think that any tax that I pay in the future will probably go into keeping this guy.
