Very mild super powers

Let me tell you why I'm a superhero....

I have a long running gag about being a superhero that I've decided must be true.
This is thanks to watching too much of the show Heroes lately and hearing Daniel O'Doherty perform Very Mild Super Powers when he was in Australia this year.

Here's the reason the gag started-
When my mum was heavily pregnant with me she was bitten by a spider. A red-back spider to be precise, which is a highly poisonous Australian spider. An adult being bitten should be fine but it can be fatal to babies and the elderly.
Everything was fine though.... Or was it....
So hearing this story when I was young highly amused me and an idea began to form.
Now if you've seen the movie Blade you'll recall that the hero, Blade's mother was bitten by a vampire when he was in the womb. This made him some kind of strange hybrid "All their strengths and none of their weaknesses" or some wank like that.
Haha! Now it all becomes clear- my love of the night and small dark spaces. I'm a spider/human hybrid.

So this joke has been growing for years.
And now thanks to Daniel O'Doherty I've been exploring my Very Mild Super Powers (I think they warrant capitals, don't you)
The only power I've found so far is the ability to make streetlights blow out. I can't control it but often when I'm driving at night streetlights will blow when I'm directly under them. Sometimes 5 or 6 over the course of an evening... Spooky. I must be putting out some kind of electrical current.
So now I'm on the look out for other Mild Super Powers I must have, to add to the growing folklore that I have created.

i'm quite strange aren't I? Well I have to amuse myself somehow.
