So, I have to really buckle down and get a routine going with my writing. Because right now I'm getting *nothing* done. And I need to write approximately 90 pages of research/analysis, and get it approved, in 3 months.
So, I've been trying to get my focus back by doing yoga in the mornings.
And I bought a yoga DVD the other day with an instructor that I really like, Kurt Johnsen.
It's got, like, 6 different 1 hour routines or something. And it's really great and blah blah blah.
Okay okay okay... So I was doing it this morning, and who is one of the yoga participants on the DVD but my boyfriend's mom! Haha. I was really impressed. I had no idea that she was in it, but Kurt, like, introduced her and everything. She's really awesome at the practice.
But it kind of freaked me out a little at first. I guess it's just different to see her on a DVD versus actually talking with her... I'm not used to seeing her so calm! Haha.
That was interesting.
The Beatles have been on heavy rotation on my computer. Seb even likes them now! He's the first person I've ever actually converted to liking The Beatles (he was adamantly anti-Beatles before). Haha. I guess that's good, since we plan on being together for a long time, and there's no way I'm not listening to them!
Word I would like to use more: gumption. I was rewatching
Road to Avonlea, which I haven't seen since I was a kid. And they keep saying that Sara Stanley has a lot of "gumption." You just don't hear people say that anymore.
