When the evening rolled around, Sam went over to Nathan's apartment and knocked on the door, hoping Peter was already there. He'd had some time to calm down after his eventful afternoon in the park, but he was still more annoyed than he wanted to be.
Peter indicated for Sam to make himself comfortable on the couch while he got the both of them some sodas from the fridge. The Chinese food was on the coffee table. "I didn't dupe. You know I don't like that."
"I didn't think you duped. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had to shove a copy of you into the lake," Sam said, poking at the Chinese food to see what Peter had gotten.
Peter brought back two cans of soda, then made himself comfortable on the other end of the couch. He sat sideways so he could see Sam. "A few folks kept mistaking me for somebody they saw coming into town. I'm guessing we're talking more than similar coloring and haircut?"
"See I don't do that, since I could always kick your ass," Peter said, glad to see Sam smiling. "You're normally not a lake-shoving guy. What happened?"
