I hate it when I connect with movies in ways I'm probably not meant to.
I went and saw Brand upon the Brain! and it was awesome.
It's a silent movie about an orphanarium on a secluded island and all sorts of messed up things that went on there. It had a small orchestra, foley crew and narrator in the theatre performing with the movie. It was beyond awesome, unfortunately I don't think the dvd will have near the same effect. It was awesome being able to switch view between the screen and the live crew. The narrator was Daniel Handler (author of the Lemony Snicket books) but every performance has a different narrator. At one point there was Crispin Glover and Isabella Rossellini. It was just a great experience in general. Unfortunately, I think it's only going on til the 11th, if you get a chance go see it.
Going to bed now!
