Of Modest Mouse and Man Man
I guess I am well overdue for a post. This last month I have actually been spending time in the real world...Woo ee oooh...
Joe was in town so a lot of time was spent hanging out with him and Mel and Cameron and Kristen. Also with Wendy and Jason's group. A lot of it was last minute "Hey Joey, what are you doing? Oh really?...are you sure you're not going here with us?" "Okay!"...
There was bowling, pool, movies, Titus, a graduation, drinking, drinking games...Joey being obnoxiously drunk...rather being an obnoxious drunk I think...
Also finally got my tattoo finished...I'll have pictures up sometime...they're floating around somewhere just need to get them...unfortunately I might not get to do a touch up...for as cheap...
Also there was the Modest Mouse concert last night, which was quite awesome, it was quite obvious that it would be. Went with Jim, Nick and Crystal. What surprised me was one of the opening bands, Man Man. Each member played between 3 and 5 instruments at different points throughout their set and they went right into each song with almost no break. I need to find their album...or steal it from Jim...
Also finals are this week...I've been aching for a bit of a break this time...there was a lot of stuff that happened and I need to recharge. Hopefully being in a new place will make it a bit better.
