Maybe some people just don't watch enough horror movies to know that you really shouldn't walk into a haunted house.

I think being here for a while the idea of 'normal' changes. People make mistakes they might have been more careful about at the beginning.

Like going into haunted houses.

In theory, the houses disappeared, so anyone missing from the City should be in the Hall of the Missing, unless they got swallowed into a hidden part of the City.
