Our date on the "Tourzilla" was the very last show for the tour! So that means lots of random insane shit and a really hyped show!
So basically the night started off with Patricia, two of our friends, and I all waiting in a huge line to get in. We met Valencia's merch dude when he came out to talk about Valencia randomly and patty yelled at him to come talk to us. Haha, it was really random but he was awesome. AND HE HAD AN AWESOME "DUMB AMERICAN" ACCENT! Lmao his words not mine, I thought his accent was so cute. So yeah, we're finally let in at 6ish and go straight by coat check cause I was not into waiting 198742897 hours to put my coat away when I could hold onto it. The pit was pretty small cause of all the people still in coat check so we got really close right off the bat.
First band: VALENCIA!!! I love them so much and watching them live made me love them even more. They're so cute and so much fun to watch. And I finally found out that the dude who I bribed water in trade for a CD at warped was actually in the band. They played only 5 songs which was sad, but I can't wait until they come back. They put on an awesome show.
Second band: THEAUDITION! For some reason like none of my friends liked this band. Well, one of them did after watching them. Seriously I loved watching them too. So much energy and Danny Stevens is just so amazing to watch. He danced and stuff and was just so energetic. AND THE FIRST PERSON TO TELL ME WHO THE HELL THE DUDE WITH THE FRO IN THEAUDITION IS WINS MY ETERNAL LOVE! I'm too lazy to go check myself haha. But I loved him.
Third band: ALL TIME LOWWWW!! Alex right away was like "This is the last show of the tour so we're I don't want it to be normal" or something like that. Basically he talked about karoke, sing alongs, and dance parties. He got Danny Stevens to sing Six Feet Under The Stars, and "delicious" sang Coffee Shop Soundtrack. Then alex randomly went off stage during one song and for 30 seconds there was only the music with no singing cause Danny had the mic and didn't know the words and Alex had ran away. Oh, and Danny also sang all of Dammit with ATL while alex disappeared. Clearly Alex was just not up to singing last night. And then they invited everyone from backstage on stage for a dance party. That set was the most random, unorganized, yet amazing thing ever. Last show of tour ftw.
After all time low my friends and I all decided to get out of the pit cause, well, I really think Boys Like Girls kind of fail at life. We went to the merch tables where we met the guy who I actually bought the CD from at warped and he was all, "OH YEAH I REMEMBER YOU GUYS!" Then I told him he saved my life, cause I would've died of dehydration. He seemed kind of shy to be honest but he was so sweet. After that I met "vest" who now I know is george, he was the one who handed me the water at warped tour. I don't even remember him but I pretended I did because I felt bad and he was cute. Haha. Then I had a one person dance party during Boys Like Girls cause I was bored. Martin still can't sing live. And he totally butchered Let Go by Frou Frou. OH AND THE ONLY GOOD THING BOYS LIKE GIRLS DID THAT NIGHT WAS THE "SUPERLATIVES" WHICH WERE AWARDS FOR PEOPLE ON TOURZILLA!! IT WAS SO HILARIOUS! Just to name a few, Alex won smelliest and ladies man, Zack Merrick won best lesbian [didn't get that but okay], Brian from BLG won booze bag, OH AND THE SADDEST ONE WAS WHEN THE DUDE WITH THE FRO FROM THE AUDITION WON UGLIEST MEMBER OF TOURZILLA. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH HIM AND IT MADE ME SAD. Yeah. So then the show ended, anddd we saw Jack and Alex from ATL, went outside and talked to Zack, who is socially retarded, and Rian, WHO IS NOW THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. Rian was so nice and was like actually holding a conversation with the group of people around him. He also tried to tell us Canadian money was uglier than American money. SORRY, YOUR MONEY IS BORING. Then I met Fro from the audition and told him I thought he was really pretty. He said thank you and was like so cute about it. Then I asked for free hugs. Then I met the drummer from the audition who was like really soft spoken and genuinely so nice. He told us we were so sweet cause we kept telling him he did an amazing job during his set. Got free hugs from him too. Oh and then Fro silly srtinged drummer dude from the audition. It was very hilarious and it started a silly string war.
We had to leave kind of early because a friend of mine has strict parents and it was a school night, but we still had a pretty amazing time. I also got to chill with Lily and Sofie who I had met at the TAI show and the Hey Chris reading. Now we're like show buddies. I love them. OH, AND SERIOUSLY, ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE ME NAMES TO PEOPLE I CALLED LIKE "FRO, DUDE WHO DID DRUMS IN AUDITION, VALENCIA GUITARIST, WHATEVER" WILL GET MY LOVE.
