He has... such mixed feelings about Aki. They're best friends, and have been since as long as he can remember. He would do anything for Aki (well, mostly anything). Though the fact that they're exchanging handjobs every 2 weeks to keep Aki alive was something Shinji never expected. (AND IT'S AWKWARD.)
It makes him both happy and conflicted that Aki's here, because on one hand he has his best friend, but on the other hand the knowledge that Aki was dating Minako makes him just a bit jealous. He shouldn't be, really. And he should be happy that his favorite girl and guy are together but...
Yeah, he still can't help it. He'd give you his blessings though, Aki, even though you're still an idiot.

Someone he feels a considerable degree of closeness to, if only because they were part of the original SEES. He thinks she's quite mature and capable, but beyond that, they've never really been that close. Still, he trusts her decisions.

The least worrisome member of Strega for sure. He doesn't know how Junpei and Chidori got together but it doesn't really matter. As long as she isn't being a pain in the ass.

They're technically enemies. Technically. Although Shinji doesn't necessarily consider Jin as someone dangerous. (You gotta admit, it's hard to think this scrawny kid is dangerous anyway.)
All in all, Shinji doesn't really have a beef with Jin aside from those times Strega messed up their operations and put them in danger. He's aware that it's Takaya who is the main driving force behind them, and Jin is just his fanatic groupie. On his own, he's not... all that bad. Sure, sometimes Shinji wants to punch his teeth out but at the same time... he kind of sympathizes. Their situations are kind of similar, except Shinji's fortunate enough to have (normal) friends. At any rate, he doesn't quite mind Jin as much as the rest of SEES do.

Okay. Their relationship is a little... complicated. Or at least it's Shinji's feelings that are complicated.
He likes the girl, despite everything. Sure, he thinks she's an idiot 90% of the time and he almost always say mean things to her, but he doesn't really know how else to talk to her. She frustrates him on many levels, but at the same time he just can't leave her alone. He tries to keep her at arms length because he doesn't want to get in too deep or too attached because 1) he's in love with someone else and 2) it will never go anywhere anyway. He'd already made the mistake of feeling too much for Minako, so he doesn't want to repeat it again.
He's trying not to, anyway.

This is where Shinji reluctantly faces his weakness to cute things. But no, not really. He doesn't know why he even started talking to this k- no, guy. Well, it's hard to think of this one as more than a kid despite his age and everything, so Shinji'll just consider him a kid. He hasn't formed much of an opinion yet, although finding out Jun is also a persona user gives Shinji more of a reason to talk to him. So far? Really Fucking Weird.
