Hi! I'm Cyn, and I'm pretty new here. One of the last three to have been sorted on. Please know that I'm just trying to help because I hate seeing anyone not sorted.

I was just reading over your app. The one thing that I noticed was lack of elaboration. Many of your sentences say exactly what you want them to say, but they aren't giving very much depth into "who" you are. I don't know if that made sense or not. I may be new here, but not to sorting and it is difficult to sort someone on the most basic of answers. Don't feel that you need to keep your answers to one or two sentences.

Also, the description of the houses in your terms could leave a bit to be desired. I felt like you got the descriptions based on one or two of the characters. Being part Hufflepuff (and proud of it, I might add), it is a little irritating to see "lazy, mediocre" when part of the actual description for Hufflepuff is Hardworking. Mediocre, I won't fault too much - just don't like it. Everyone looks over Hufflepuff because they just blend in and don't stand out much - until you look at Cedric as well as Tonks.

"Beautiful" for Ravenclaw seems a bit much as well. I wouldn't say that their house is one of "beauties." Marietta Edgecomb was not very beautiful after OotP. Beauty wouldn't actually be a trait.

"vain and alluring" for Slytherin would be more specific to the Malfoy family and even Tom, but not on the whole. Disloyalty is something of an obstacle as well - they are extremely loyal, to their families. It is all a matter of perspective.

I can't argue with the Gryff one. You hit it completely on the head with that one.

Perhaps instead of the one word descriptions, you could explain why you feel these traits are what you see for these houses.

Again with number 16 - calling yourself mediocre - was Cedric mediocre? Tonks? Both are Hufflepuffs of note. Neville would have been a puff, except the gryff in him won out. I really don't like that word at all, can you tell?

Just from reading and rereading your app I would have a hard time sorting you - but I would be able to come up with a slythinpuff from many of your answers. I would love to see you put up a super awesome app that truly screams where you belong. Please message me or respond back through lj. aim: cynfulrose yim: cyn_24 i'm logging on now, if you are online and want to talk. *grins*
