Crying out to God...
Hey guys, it's me. Just wanted to let you know I'm going through a sticky situation right now...and need a lot of prayer! (and yes, it has to do with a *guy*) I really need to keep my head on straight, I need wisdom, I need to submit to my parents, and yet I need to continue to show Christ's love to this guy. It's so hard to explain...I had a conversation with him yesterday, cooling things off a bit...and it was a really tough conversation to have. Things are still kind of up in the air, which is almost harder to deal with than if they were definite.
So I come home yesterday in "the depths of despair", talk to a friend of mine, Megan, who gave me lots of great advice and had lots of words of wisdom--the last point being, "Rach, promise me this--just don't watch any romantic comedy movies for *at least* two weeks, k?" So, WHAT did I do last night????? Popped in the first tape of P&P! Uhh, I'm hopeless.
Please just pray for me and Garrett right now. Pray that he will understand where I'm coming from...and ultimately that through this whole thing, we would both grow in Christ.
Yeah, I know I'm vague...I'll definitely give you all the whole story sometime soon.
