I believe this is part of something called a curse week. It seems they happen every once in a while here.

It's good that you're at least able to turn back into your human form at will though. I appear to be trapped in this body until the curse ends.

[Ion offers a shy smile. He's turned into an ogre from Yu Yu Hakusho, and is somewhat embarrassed by his temporary body.]

This ain't like no curse I've ever seen. Never heard of a curse keepin' a schedule either.

[ Shima casually gives Ion a quick look up and down. He's seen weirder things than some horned dude with freaky green skin back home, but those were normally demons or familiars. ]

Thank you. But I'm grateful that I can at least still speak normally, unlike some of the others who have been affected by this curse.

These curses are rather strange, but the last one only lasted a week. From what I've heard from others, that seems to be the usual length for these events.

Maybe Shima would be more prepared for this if he had bothered to read the information on curses he picked up on his first day. Oh well, that's the steep price of being lazy. ]

What was the last one like? Better or worse than these random transformations?

The last time, all those affected by the curse received different clothes and powers. There were also bars over our head which kept track of things such as our remaining health. Fortunately, unlike last time, there don't seem to be monsters wandering around Vatheon.

Wow, sounds like somethin' straight out of a RPG. I bet there was a bunch of girls runnin' around in skimpy clothes though, right? The monsters must've been a pain in the ass, though...

The monsters mainly stayed in certain areas, so it wasn't too bad.
