For those of you unaware, I am back in Edinburgh, this time for a much longer haul. Two years. I am already majorly regretting my decision to come back in winter time. Just in time for the coldest start to winter in the last bazillion years. Please marvel at my timing. I would kill for a day above 15 degrees, hell above 3 would do me right now

Normally it dosent stay this cold for so long but this is going n week 2 and there is no end in sight :(

Tonight's forcast:

Mostly clear. Areas of dense ice fog in valleys. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times. Lows 40 to 50 below...except 25 below in the hills. Light winds...except east winds 15 mph over hills.

:o That would be horrific every night. HOw on earth do you get comfortable?

At least this year it's my choice where I go for Christmas. I think I'd like to be in the same timezone as my family.

Being in the same time zone as one's family is occasionally nice..mainly around Christmas :P

As for the coldness, I aim the heater so it blows the hot air directly on me and i shut the door so the cold air from teh living room dosent go into the bedroom. Its like a 30 degree diference in temps if I keep the door shut
