I'm just so envious of him and his revolutionary smallpox blankets and terrible sense of direction that I can't help it! My jealousy makes me catty :'( I wish I had smallpox blankets.

Or maybe the crew kept getting rabies from the bats that were flying around chasing him. You can get rabies from bats. I learned that from House!
