That's too bad....why?

Umm, maybe because the very first thing you listed in a lonnnnng list was "I Love Jesus"? Just guessing because that tends to turn people off, and fast.

So I take it you're not a fan of Christ?
like I said before, that's too bad.

Actually, no, it isn't too bad. It suits me just fine. Unfortunately, almost everyone I've met who feels the need to shout out their 'love' of Jesus also falls into the category of being the most intolerant and judgmental folks I've met. It's a shame that loving Jesus turns so many into hateful individuals. This is why it turns me, and millions of others, off when I see these protestations of Jesus love.

Isn't it also intolerant and judgemental to assume that because someone "loves Jesus" they are as hateful as anyone else who loves Jesus? I mean when I was in high school the majority of football players that I knew were complete assholes. That doesn't mean that in the future if someone is a football player I should automatically assume he is an asshole. That is judgemental.

Reread my comments. I said "maybe" that what turns people off, and also "the people I've met" who feel the need to shout from the rooftops how much they love Jesus, are often the most hateful. I never said that I assume everyone who "loves Jesus" is hateful.

Yeah, but what makes you think that becuase /I/ love Jesus, I'm like that, too?
You should get to know people first, instead of relying on what's in thier LiveJournal profile. It also says that I'm tall..."maybe" people won't like me becuase of that?
(Not a mean comment, a pensive one)

I never said you were like that. Btw, I'm not the person who wrote the first comment, I was simply trying to explain why someone might feel that way. You might be a perfectly nice, open-minded, accepting and loving individual. The fact that so many who 'love Jesus' are not those things, is what the 'nice' Jesus-lovers should be concerned about. :)

Ok...ummm...isavedfance05...I'm actually someone who does know you personally and the "I love Jesus" thing kinda annoys me too. I guess I just find it a little irratating that the whole "Jesus" thing is shoved down people's throats. It's why I don't like reading your profile.

What? When have I /ever/ "shoved" my religion down someone's throat?

Sorry, I didn't mean to insinuate that you particularly had said that. It was more a blanket statement that to dislike someone for loving Jesus is just as intolerant and judgemental as a lot of Jesus lovers can be.
