You're proving my point, in a manner which even I didn't expect. You know, for someone who hangs around Rent and theatre communities, you are awfully disdainful of actors. Not to mention, remarkably uninformed. You and your little posse of friends may latch onto fans who have been around longer than you have (read: Sophie), and suddenly share your thesaurus-inspired posts with the rest of us here, on CB, and BWW (am I missing any?), but you make it very obvious how new you are to the world of theatre. One Thanksgiving trip to the city doesn't make you the expert you pretend to be.
Here are the shows that I, personally, have had the opportunity to see Barrett perform in: Mamma Mia, Avenue Q, Spelling Bee, five or six benefit concerts, Godspell, Much Ado About Nothing, Camelot, Children of Eden and numerous shows he did while at UMich studying, yes, MT, a perfectly acceptable and commonly used designation for Musical Theatre. I've known him a long time.
I don't understand what your problem is. Do you take pleasure in being so negative and condescending all the time? As I'm sure you've noticed, it will not win you any friends. Well, except maybe for Sophie who is starved for attention because she lives in the pit of Texas. Nor does it impress anyone that you feel the need to attempt humor in every post. Most of what you drone on about makes little sense and doesn't even approach being the least bit funny.
What the fuck is your weird hangup about bringing a person's home state into your insults of them? Or specifying the time frame of my visit to New York? Or bringing up things Regina said in her LJ, but not on any of the communities or posting boards? You are weird and obsessive and scary. If you're still trying to turn people against us? It's not working. Regina and I have done a much better job of that ourselves without any of your help, thank you very much. Leave Sophie out of it, at least when talking to me, because I don't know her. She probably doesn't deserve to be put in a category with me.
and just learn to take a fucking joke. I'm not disdainful of actors. I am a fan of 90% of the people you've seen me make fun of. That is part of how I enjoy something. You don't have to agree with it or find it amusing, but don't pretend it's something it's not. I've told you that before.
I can't even contemplate how you have the nerve to call anyone condescending. Or nonsensical. Or sad.

You are a sad case.
