There aren't exactly 24 hours in a day, but to have an even number, they put it at 24 (a "calendar day"). A year is actually 365.24 days (which is why we have a leap year every four years). So techinically, 525,600 isn't correct.
Yes, how dare I clear up confusion as to what #16 was referring to. I never expressed any anger that the technically correct mathematical equation wasn't used; I simply explained how the person who posted #16 arrived at his answer. I fail to see how expanding one's knowledge on a subject is "crap," but if you would rather remain ignorant, be my guest.
